Chocolate Hazelnut Torte
Ingredients:
200 grams hazelnuts
200 grams butter
4 eggs at room temperature
200 grams sugar
200 grams melted chocolate
50 grams extra dark chocolate

It was included for the first time for newlyweds, Eric and Alex Baer, married on September 30, 2006. All the stateside cooks in the family will be anxious to try this one…it sounds delicious!
200 grams hazelnuts
200 grams butter
4 eggs at room temperature
200 grams sugar
200 grams melted chocolate
50 grams extra dark chocolate
Instructions:
- Using the kitchen wiz (food processor), roughly chop hazelnuts and remove
- Put butter and sugar in the wiz and cream well
- Add eggs one at a time (don’t worry if it curdles)
- Add melted chocolate
- Process to combine
- Stir in chopped nuts and extra chocolate
- Pour into a 10” or 12” springform cake tin lined with wax paper
- Cook for about 45 minutes at 350 degrees
- Sprinkle with confectionary sugar and serve with berries and cream.
